The North Penn Works project serves aspiring minority and immigrant IT professionals. Though the program is conducted primarily online, there may be opportunities for face-to-face meetups for special activities or workshops.
Participation in the programs is subject to the observance of stated rules and procedures. The activities outlined below are strictly prohibited. Any volunteer or program participant who violates this Code will be removed from the program.
Abusive language towards a staff member, volunteer, or another participant.
Discourtesy or rudeness to a fellow participant, staff member, or volunteer.
Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of another participant, staff member, or volunteer.
Actual or threatened violence toward any individual or group.
Conduct endangering the life, safety, health, or well-being of others.
Failure to follow any program policy or procedure.
Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant.
Failing to cooperate with program leaders.
Sharing pornographic or other questionable content with program participants.
Violation of confidentiality of program participants.
Reporting to in-person meetups while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Reporting to in-person meetups with dangerous or unauthorized materials such as firearms, weapons, or other similar items.
